Autism Teacher, Slocum Skewes School

 

Hi! My name is Mr. A, and I'm proud to be a teacher at Slocum Skewes School. I have been teaching for 15 years, and I am still as passionate today about helping students improve as I was on my first day in the classroom.

 

I earned my B. A. and M. A. from Saint Peter's University. I hold a K-6 Teaching Certificate, Reading Specialist Certificate, and my TOSD (Teacher of students with disabilities). I believe in creating a comfortable and safe learning environment for my students. 

 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family. I love cheering for the Knicks and Buccaneers as well.
