Kristine Blau

Special Education Teacher in the Learning Center, grades 3-5

Hi! My name is Ms. Blau, and I am so excited to be teaching in the Learning Center! I bring almost 14 years of ABA experience to the classroom, including 6 years as a Registered Behavior Technician.

I earned my BA in English from Montclair State University. I am certified in Elementary Education (K–6) and English (K–12), and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Special Education at Ramapo College.

I believe in creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Not everyone learns the same way. I like to go outside typical traditional teaching to help each student learn and thrive.

When I am not in the classroom, you will most likely find me near water. I love paddle boarding and kayaking locally, but the beach is my far-away happy place. I also try to spend as much time with my three grown children as possible.
