Mrs.Serafimov ESL Grades 6,7,8 & 3 Slocum Skewes School

Hi! Nice to meet you! I am Mrs. Serafimov and I am so proud to be a teacher in the Ridgefield School District since 2000...this is my 26th year here. I am an ELA and ESL/ELL teacher and I speak English, Polish and Macedonian.

 

Currently, I am excited to be teaching ESL in the middle school at Slocum Skewes (grades 6, 7 and 8) as well as grade 3 ESL students. Even after many years in education, I am just as passionate about teaching today as I was as a brand-new teacher.

 

Outside of the classroom, I am mom of 3, dog mom, a breast cancer survivor turned health coach sprinkling positivity wherever I go. I am a certified Yoga instructor and a certified independent OPTAvia coach. My passion is helping people...whether it is student's gaining confidence in English, or adults building healthier habits.

 

Inside and outside the classroom...the common thread is the same: I change lives. I just truly enjoy helping others grow and succeed in life. My love of children and my dedication to education continue to inspire me every single day.
