Speech Therapy with Ms. Chung

Hello! My name is Ms.Chung, and I have been providing speech therapy at Slocum Skewes School since 2019. My career in education spans over 20 years, including roles as a speech therapist and a social studies teacher in New Jersey. In 2004, I had the privilege of teaching at an international school in Kazakhstan.

I hold a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University. I am certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

I use a multi-sensory approach to meet the needs of diverse learners. My goal is to help students learn, organize, and process material in ways that maximize engagement and outcome. I especially enjoy seeing my students transfer learned skills into the classroom and their daily lives. I’m looking forward to working with the students and supporting their growth throughout the school year!
