6th Grade Math/NJSLA Math Teacher, Slocum Skewes School
Hello! My name is Mrs. Stewart and I am a 6th grade teacher at Slocum Skewes. I have been teaching for 22 years, with the last 20 at Slocum.
I earned my B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education (K-8) at Ramapo College of New Jersey. I earned my masters degree in Education Leadership from American College of Education. It is very important to me to create a classroom where all students feel valued, motivated, and safe to take risks and share ideas.
When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family. You can always find me on the soccer field with my three daughters who love playing the sport.
