Ms. DeMatteo

 

      I'm the ICS teacher in Mrs. Werner's 5th grade homeroom. I attended Felician University and Rider University and have a N-8 certification and a Special Ed certification. 

      I believe every child is capable of learning. I strive to recognize each student's unique strengths and needs and create a structured learning environment that can also adapt and be flexible when needed. Using individual differentiated instruction, positive behavior support and technology students build autonomy and self confidence. I enjoy working with children and aim to promote academic success and emotional connection with my students.
