Mr. Miller
Hello,
My name is Mr. Miller, and I have been teaching Health and Physical Education in the Ridgefield School District for many years. I have also had the privilege of teaching our Learning Center students throughout my time in the district.
As a Health and Physical Education teacher, I strive to provide students with opportunities to learn about and participate in a variety of physical activities and sports. My hope is that these experiences will spark an interest in making physical fitness and healthy living an important part of their lifestyle, helping them develop a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life.
In addition, I strive to enhance my students’ ability to work collaboratively with one another while promoting the great value of teamwork. I believe teamwork is an integral part of a positive, happy, and successful lifestyle. Working together can help people reduce stress, achieve their goals with the support of others, and avoid feeling overwhelmed by trying to accomplish everything on their own. Developing effective teamwork skills can contribute to greater peace, happiness, and overall well-being, both mentally and physically. It also fosters strong relationships, which can have such a positive impact on all areas of life.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Seton Hall University and my graduate studies at New Jersey City University and Emporia State University. I also completed postgraduate coursework at New Jersey City University.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, participating in fitness activities, and going on vacation.
It is a pleasure to work with your child as we embark on this exciting journey together here in the Ridgefield School District. I look forward to a wonderful year!
