Ms. Courtney Goch

My name is Courtney Goch, and I am excited for another school year! This is my 25th year of teaching and my 10th year as an in-class support teacher. I am also the advisor for our middle school literary magazine, Inception, and the National Junior Honor Society. I earned a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Special Education. I hold a certification in English for grades 7–12, as well as a certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities.

In my classroom, students are encouraged to explore new ideas, confidently overcome challenges, and actively engage in their learning. This environment fosters openness to learning from one another and growth through collaboration. Every child is capable of success, and a safe, positive classroom atmosphere is the foundation for that success.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling, and taking walks with my dog, Charlie.
