As an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher in New Jersey, my mission is to foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking by creating a classroom environment that reflects the natural rhythms of curiosity and discovery. I believe that learning should be organic, rooted in students' lived experiences, and connected to the world around them.
By embracing a holistic approach, I aim to nurture each student’s unique voice and perspective, guiding them to become thoughtful communicators and empathetic listeners. Through project-based learning, meaningful discussions, and creative exploration, I strive to empower my students to see the beauty in language and the power of their own ideas.
Together, we will cultivate a community where learning feels as natural as storytelling, as dynamic as a conversation, and as transformative as a new book.

Outside of the classroom I am an avid reader, crafter, mom to two amazing teenagers, a cat mom to two large cats, and a lover of coffee and tea.
